The human spirit is the true fighting core of togetherness.
How many are repulsed by Putin’s action and desire for power and the very notion that he who has the most toys wins?
How many recognize the efficiency of the fighting spirit the Ukrainian people, men, and women, young and old, are portraying?
Prior to Ukraine, Taiwan exhibited this same spirit. Together, they have fought to remain autonomous in the face of adversity. Yet, the powers that be continue to desire control.
I’d like to believe this spirit is similar, if not identical to the colonists in America who took up this same fight because it was something they strongly believed in. With less weaponry, but with great spirit those people long ago fought against the tyranny of a King who wanted to rule, over-tax, and deny another’s soul calling for freedom and a new way of life.
Maybe the colonists and forefathers in America didn’t get everything right. Still, we cannot deny the spirit with which they fought for beliefs, values, or rights.
What we are seeing all over the world, yes, in America too is something some have not witnessed in their lives before. It is, for instance, the first time many have suffered conflicts such as witnessed today. In years past, all seemed right and good with the world. Nevertheless, while we were not looking, someone changed the game.
Human Spirit And Care, Versus Greed And Corruption
All in the name of what? It’s tough to fight against the same tools, tools now used for destruction, that once were used to build cities of prosperity.
Make no bones about it – history rhymes with the desire for a spiritual revolution. It happens below the surface, beyond what anyone can see with their eyes, or hear with their ears.
Outwardly, some believe war is the only way. Inwardly, I accept how the soul strives to find a reason for peace; inwardly we all know little of importance (other than power, title, and money to a few) is to be gained from war.
Will our human spirit reflect upon all that is occurring? Can our human spirit learn to collaborate? Can we begin to lessen our desire for more so we become thankful for all we have? Will we learn the true meaning of equality, sharing, patience, or persistence? Will we appreciate what nature provides, without doing more harm?
We are all responsible.
Sitting at this desk I realize I am not the one fighting. However, it does involve me. Everything I see on the outside impacts me on the inside.
The shadow of our internal spirit is coming forward. This is a spiritual revolution for a future set in motion. It is attempting to change ideas not for war and destruction, but for more harmony and peace- all in the name of humanity. At least I’d like to think this is true.
The war we all feel within us is asking us to look around, look inside. The world is attempting to change, our souls have to be willing to look at our own beliefs in order to shift toward what is best for all, not only a few.
One country does not hold the property of every nation. Yet together we all have something that can help us come together for the good of nature, people, and life.
I’ll be the first to say I do not have answers. I am not sure our politicians have answers either. In Ukraine we are seeing someone who was at one time a stand-up comedian, now stand on the front lines with common folks determined to stand their ground.
What May Be Available
Freedom isn’t free. We all feel what is occurring, financially, emotionally, physically, economically, and more importantly spiritually.
You may not agree with me, and I’m okay with that. I hope you won’t deny there is a higher spiritual power at work below the surface asking each of us to:
- Restructure some functions that no longer work, i.e. greed, corruption, material desires,
- Realize sometimes things have to break down in order for a breakthrough to occur,
- Review our own value system for each human being,
- Slow the pace so there is time to feel the soul, and process all being seen,
- Renew with a spiritual component in order to be grateful for all available, care for those doing the work, and recognize the call for change.
Only from the ground up can our world shift from an old paradigm to a new one. Only with God is any of this possible.
